During his mental breakdown, Dummkopf Trumpf attacked former USAG Eric Holder, referred to Democratic veterans who urged troops to defy illegal orders as "a threat to America," accused Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) of crimes against the country, and promoted a post calling Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) a "terrorist from a terrorist family."

In one post, he shared an apparently AI-generated video that depicts Felon Musk touching on Trumpf's pledge to "immediately" strip temporary legal protections for Somali migrants living in Minnesota.

Elsewhere in his maniacal post spree, Trumpf pushed other conspiracy theories including one that Joe Biden's former White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zients as well as Hunter Biden were the "SECRET PARDON PUPPET MASTERS" in the administration.

Trump's approval rating is at minus 24 points. The more he does crazy things, the lower it will go. George W. Bush was minus 19 points in 2006. His Republican Party, of course, suffered major losses in the 2006 midterm elections, flipped Congress and won a veto-proof 60 seats.

This is the second worst for a president of either party at this point in their second term, dating all the way back to the 1940s.

Trump is entering (or has already entered) lame duck territory. You're going to see layers of Repubs start to peel away and plan for what they hope is the next regime IMO. And he's not going to take it well.

And the only thing going to stop this if the Bannon and his crew really try to push Trump to a third term - which Trump may eventually come around to.

I have. I was also vocally against Harris.

Looking at 2020 and 2024, it's clear that Trump didn't win, the Dems lost. He only gained 3 million votes between the two elections out of 75 million in 2020. That's barely a blip in increased support.

Men who would force them to rat out their own family members, before receiving medical care.

On Tuesday 5 Nov 2024 Dummkopf Trumpf won a plurality-- not a majority-- of the popular vote at 49.8%.

Only 64.1% of eligible voters turned out that day, a decrease of 2.5 percentage points from 3 Nov 2020 when 66.6% of eligible voters turned out. This was an increase of 6.5 percentage points from 2016.

As JPW points out, Trumpf didn't win in 2024, rather Dems lost.

Hillary Clinton proved a woman could be POTUS, Barack Obama proved a man of color of could be POTUS, so race and misogyny can be ruled out in Kamala's 2024 loss. And her VPOTUS pick couldn't have been more white and status quo than gun-owning, animal advocate, military veteran, football coach Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.

Democrats vote for policy, not personality. Republicans seem to vote for personality, not policy.

Too bad USAG Merrick Garland sat on the explosive Jeffrey Epstein files from 21 Jan 2021 to 19 Jan 2025. SC Jack Smith could have continued with his dual track investigation into Dummkopf Trumpf (6 Jan insurrection and hoarding classified documents) while an ordinary AUSA from SDNY could have put together a damning indictment and conviction of a certain orange-hued wealthy pedophile.

Gaza did them in. All those voters who stayed away that year, either through being purged from voter rolls, or because they wanted a pony, will be back. Harris did amazingly well, all things considered. If she had even a couple more months, we wouldn't be watching the USA burning to the ground right now.

A short list of accomplishments of the Biden Administration:

- Ended the Covid-19 pandemic, vaccinating 230 million Americans, despite the horse paste lunatics who don't understand science
- Established the American Rescue Plan - lowering child poverty, improving nutrition, protecting health care, providing emergency relief to businesses that were devastated by demented Donnie's failure to act, and more.
- Record lows in unemployment. Record job creation. Increased GDP. Thriving stock market. The United States was the envy of the world in recovering from the economic impact of Covid-19.
- Passed a bipartisan infrastructure bill.
- Inflation Reduction Act.
- CHIPS and Science Act.
- Improved the USA's standing around the world.
- Promoted labor, unions and investment in manufacturing inside the USA.
- Bolstered clean energy.
- Increased support for veterans and active military.
- Accelerated cancer research.
- Reduced crime.
- Improved health care.

Tell us how awesome the first year of FDT's Admin has been, Jeff. Explain to us all how, after 4 years of job growth, lower unemployment, lower health care costs, tax relief and overall security, your boy has made things EVEN BETTER THAN EVER! Show us the job numbers, proving how your boy is soooo much better. Show us the data, proving how disastrous Biden's presidency was. It should be easy for you.

Biden was too decrepit and senile for the presidency. He should have never been elected 2020.

Most Democrats understood this, especially towards the end when he was basically forced to cede his campaign to Harris.

But,

Republicans, who complained endlessly about Biden's senility, went and elected their own crazy and senile geriatric as soon as they got the chance. And now their guy is suffering obvious mental decline.

Tools like Belldinger et al. have no justification whatsoever to complain about Biden with respect to competency. But they will continue to do so anyway because they are hypocrites.

Republicans sometimes react with surprise when they learn there's rampant misogyny in the sciences.

Because science is for Liberals!

They can't process that liberals can be just like conservatives when it comes to prejudices. Even as, in the next breath, they will deflect from Trump rape allegations with Clinton rape allegations.

This kinda gets back to the misogyny being so baked into society, that it's taken for granted. Not expecting that misogyny would be present in the "liberal" sciences is the blinkered world view of the Conservative.

The difference in lower voter turnout in both Democratic Party losses in 1968 and 2024 was caused by antiwar voters and progressives opposed to war and brutal foreign regimes. She ran in 2020. Didn't even make it to the Iowa caucus. Was selected as VP anyway and did nothing to set herself above others in the administration (I think Buttigieg was a good example of the type of presence she needed to have).

Instead, the DNC hoped to fulfill their dream of a woman POTUS based on "not Trump" and "she's the VP," as if in the past it was the mere occupancy of the office that mattered and not the achievements that put previous VPOTUS in that office.

The nail in the coffin was the mismanagement of their own base. For examples of that, see any Gaza thread here.

Your clinging to an objectively wrong narrative to explain an easily predicted outcome is because you value first and foremost your status as an "ally."

If you wrote the story of Harris from 2020 to 2024, anonymized it and stripped it of any indicators of sex or race, it wouldn't be much of a head scratcher to guess why that candidate didn't win.

Successful women aren't immune to sexism and racism.
Everyone, even men, are affected by sexism and racism!

"The fact that you can't understand why Bernie supporters wouldn't abandon the positions that made them support Bernie to begin with simply because Bernie said so."

Seems to me I've been demonstrating that I do understand it, and explaining that sexism is one of those principles.
You're accusing me of not having principles because I... did what Bernie asked?

"Only someone devoid of genuine values and principles"

Racism and sexism are genuine principles too. Ones I try to remain devoid of.
Conversely, those are among the values Trump champions.

'I'm right because you're a sexist and racist but don't even know you're a sexist and racist!'

Like I said, white knights tend to be patronizing and unbearable.

BTW those would be classified as biases, not principles.

You're accusing me of not having principles because I... did what Bernie asked?

IMO, yes. If you're so flimsy in your opinions you drop them at the behest of an individual, you don't really hold them too dearly.

Trump is a daily embarrassment.

Not even one crazy poster here rants 160 times in a few hours. Let that sink in.

"If you're so flimsy in your opinions you drop them at the behest of an individual"

So I should have knowingly thrown away my vote by writing in "Bernie?"
How would that have advanced the goals set forth in my principles?
Explain.

"BTW those would be classified as biases, not principles."

You have a very poor understanding of what principles are.

"Marriage is One Man and One Woman." That is a principle. It's also a source of bias and bigotry.

If we're re-litigating 2024 again, we can get as much of it out on the table as possible, but getting it all out on the table is pretty much impossible.

Fascist technocrat billionaires own our MSM, social media, the entirety of the Repubican Party and a good chunk of the Democratic Party. We know that several MAGA twittler accounts are populated by Russian, Indian and Chinese propaganda farms/bots. The LA Times, WaPo and NYT are owned by billionaire fascists. Fox "news," OAN, Newsmax and many smaller online sources of disinformation dominate the conservative narrative. There is no liberal media, the entire discussion is ALWAYS centered on Repubican talking points, even the ones seeking to provide an alternative voice. We're always talking about what Repubicans want to talk about.

HRC had 25 years of baggage, fueled by these narratives. Harris is mixed, Indian and black, and a woman. She also has a record in California politics, as Attorney General and as a Senator. She was replaced by a man, as was Dino Feinstein. I miss Barbara Boxer, honestly. Geraldine Ferraro can demonstrate just how eager people are to elect women into the White House. There is a heavy, Christian-based, aversion to women as leaders in this country. There is also an extremely racist history in America - Repubicans are still talking about the Obamas ... electing a black president in the USA is still unforgivable, there is literally no way we would see a black woman in the seat of power ... so much so, that we saw Repubicans elect a convicted felon and adjudicated rapist.

The USA is also not ready to elect a Jewish president, which is why Bernie never stood a chance. Biden, a devout Catholic, was never going to be accepted by the Evangelical conservatives ... all that klanning and history of anti-Catholic sentiment can only be overcome by fringe Catholics who espouse ultra-fascist ideology (like the wingnuts in SCOTUS).

The Christian right believes in trad-wives ... most of them hate women in politics, but if they have to accept women in politics, they MUST be hateful, cruel people. You know, puppy killers, conspiracy theorists and gun nuts.

Notice how we're not seeing migrant caravans in the news anymore? That's not because they don't exist, it's because Repubicans don't have a need to stoke the xenophobic fears anymore.

The egg prices crisis was tied to bird flu supply chain issues. In general, Americans are not smart, so when the media ran all those stories about inflation vibes, it was easy to target the Democrats.

Mass Deportations Now! was a big reason why Latinos hopped on the FDT train - again, Americans are not smart, so all those Latinos could legitimately have thought that FDT wasn't lying about deporting only the bad guys, and not abuela the housekeeper.

Swing voters have believed, for decades now, that they have a shot at being billionaires themselves, and that immigrants and poor people are the reason they're not all billionaires already. That strong unions are bad. That Democrats don't listen to them. Suddenly, they feel betrayed, LOL. So many Americans are not smart, and resent being reminded of this so much, that they'll elect a rapist felon because he "speaks his mind," and to "own the libs."

Things were bad during and after Covid. Entitlement and the speed of recovery fueled this sentiment. The whole world suffered. We had it MUCH better than other countries, but the arrogance, idiocy and impatience of conservatives dominates our politics.

Wedge issues rule the day. FDT and Repubicans are currently defending pedophiles, which will be their doom in 2026 and beyond. They're breaking all the expensive eggs, but don't have a clue how to make an omelet. I won't underestimate Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer, however ... they'll be able to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory yet ... given their current trajectory.
