Failing to show up in 2024 was inexcusable because they allowed complacency to blind them to the unique nature of the threat. They assumed it was all systems nominal normalcy.

Pre-Trump, the most frequent driver of those folks staying home was the fact that both parties often turned them off and they didn't find either side compelling enough to earn their vote.

It's a magic act, and that magic act is getting the party people that talk to much to shut the ---- up already.

The major take away from the recent electoral blowouts was, IIRC, to run a candidate who matches the district. Running some CA librul preaching pink hair for all, they/them birthing people who produce eggs reparations while also giving everyone all the free s*&^ they want isn't going to work in a district in suburban Kansas or Texas or Michigan...
