What a national embarrassment! Trump turned the White House into a goddamn UFC arena. The People's House is now a circus tent for one pathetic clown.

Special guests could pay $1.5m for UFC White House access:

Perhaps "special guests" will get a tour of Bribe Force One?

Is Daddy Vlad and Rocket man invited?

Why not? This is basically for Lewzer's birthday party. All his "friends" should be there.

Can it be worse that the pathetic military parade he had for his birthday party last year?

Whatever happens at this third-rate bread and circuses show for the incel baboonery, nobody present will be near as big a loser as Trump - who just got his voluminous butt handed to him by a third-tier military power.

Teddy Roosevelt thinks you are all soft.

Compared to Teddy we ARE all soft.

Very few could ever keep up with his energy.

But I don't envy the sorrow he had to face in his life.

If the WH lawn is safe enough for a UFC event why do we need a ballroom?

#14 | Posted by qcp at 2026-05-27 11:49 AM | Reply | Newsworthy 1

No air-conditioning.

Teddy had boxing matches. Trump had MMA.

I would say wait for the bear cub to show up on the WH lawn, but Trump and co would definitely shoot it.

"Teddy had boxing matches. Trump had MMA."

Teddy Roosevelt boxed himself. These were not exhibition matches of others. It was Teddy boxing against anyone who would take the challenge. He took on anyone he could - including professional boxers. He frequently sparred in a makeshift White House ring against staff, friends, and professional fighters.

It was not an exhibition of violence on his front lawn.

So don't tell us how "soft" we are.

Let's see Trumpy get into the ring and then we'll talk. In fact, let ME get in the ring with Trumpy and let's see who is softer. And no I'm no professional boxer but I could down take that fat slob in seconds.

When the president is beating up all comers with his fists, it's an exhibition of violence on the front lawn.

You could say that Teddy was a boxing promoter. He personally organized matches for public entertainment.

Donald Trump was a boxing promoter in the 80s and 90s.

People just don't like it this time, because Trump's a terrible person. Teddy would also be a terrible person by modern standards, a prolific trophy hunter.

Fine. Let's see Trumpy do that.

Theodore Roosevelt held his boxing matches and sparring sessions in the transformed basement of the White House.

He used the basement as a personal gym, laying down training mats where he took on military aides, visitors, professional boxers, and even cabinet members. The president used these matches to stay in peak physical shape until a punch from his military aide in 1905 shattered his glasses and caused permanent vision damage, forcing him to retire from the ring.

And now you know the rest of the story.

Teddy did not have exhibition matches on his front lawn.

Funny you went with "trophy hunting" and not "ethnic cleansing."
But of course, that's just a reflection of the American ethos.

No Teddy Roosevelt would not be a terrible person by today's standards. Teddy was an Amazing President especially by today's "no standards". He would probably not be a "trophy hunter" today. Not when the trophy's are in danger of extinction. He would recognize thi s and deal with it accordingly.

In addition to expanding the national park system, Roosevelt used the landmark Antiquities Act of 1906 to establish 18 national monuments, including the Grand Canyon.

Theodore Roosevelt is widely considered by historians to be a "near-great" leader, consistently ranking in the top five of the C-SPAN Presidential Historians Survey.

It would take hours to list his accomplishments in life.

He will always be a heroic figure to me.
