ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), in an ever-expanding unconstitutional crime spree, is ushering in the Christmas season by launching immigration raids inside churches across the country. Trump's holiday gift to the nation is the administration's new policy that it is legal to enter churches as people worship and round them up in the immigration raids happening from coast to coast.

I am sure Boaz will be along to condemn this. Or does this fall under conservatives confronting us?

Truthfully, modern gun laws in some states make this not terribly surprising to me.

For instance, one time I drove through New York with a few guns in my car and when I looked up the laws and what to do to remain as legal as possible...holy cow.

In order to remain as legal as possible while driving through NY, I had to have all guns in locked cases in the trunk (back, my car doesn't have a trunk) and the ammo not in the trunk...err...back. But I can't have it separate because there is no distinct trunk and having the ammo in a separate compartment of the car was a legal requirement. There was also the issue of having several handguns and semi auto long guns, which are heavily regulated in New York, especially those scary black rifles.

Now, the storage in locked cases wasn't a big deal because I do that anyway. But having handguns and semi auto long guns in the car that aren't registered in NY with ammo technically in the same compartment of the vehicle could have been problematic for me even though NY technically has a pass through or drive through law on the books (it's legal to be in possession of "illegal" firearms if your destination isn't within the state of New York). All of the commentary/analysis I read regarding NY gun safety laws said that I would technically be fine if I got pulled over; however, there are numerous cases of people having guns confiscating and charges brought even though they were following the letter of the law. Most eventually got the charges dropped, but then they had the issues of paying lawyer fees, getting their property back from the state after the bogus charges are dropped and the potential lost time of being jailed initially when the bogus charges are filed, vehicle impoundment ect.

The only other option is to pay what would probably be hundreds of dollars for multiple firearms to have them shipped between FFLs, which, for a long weekend, isn't really worth the cost.

The ability to simply mail my property to the address I was going to would have made it all far far easier and less worrisome because one state has draconian anti-gun laws.

Illegal immigrants by definition broke the law just crossing the border without authorization. Sanctuary cities don't report illegal immigrant crime. So what good is that stat?

Being undocumented (unlawful presence) in the U.S. is generally a civil violation, i.e. not a crime. Crossing the border illegally is. But we've made it practically impossible to cross the border legally.

And saying that Sanctuary Cities don't report illegal immigrant crime is not just a distortion of the truth but just a flat out lie.

Care to provide any proof?

GL. I already checked. Yep! More proof that you ate a lying Commie Spyboy.

Contrary to what many believe, sanctuary policies do not conceal or shelter undocumented immigrants from detection. Nor do they shield immigrants from deportation or prosecution for criminal activities. State and local police still enforce state and local criminal laws against immigrants who are accused of committing a crime in sanctuary jurisdictions. Importantly, the Supreme Court has made clear that "as a general rule, it is not a crime for a[n undocumented immigrant] to remain present in the United States."

Research published in 2020 by the National Academy of Sciences found that sanctuary policies did not prevent the "deportations of people with violent convictions." The research"which analyzed FBI crime data and ICE deportation data"found that the implementation of sanctuary policies between 2010 and 2015 did not affect crime rates in jurisdictions with such policies or result in fewer people with violent convictions being deported.

The 25th Amendment, Section 4, requires as an initial step that Vance and a majority of the Cabinet (www.etsy.com) inform Chuck Grassley (abcnews.go.com) and Mike Johnson (www.amazon.com) that Trump is "unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office."

How many spines in that crowd?
