... Several women who survived abuse by Jeffrey Epstein have come together for a public service announcement video demanding that Congress release all files ...

From what I understand, there may be to be a press conference tomorrow with many of the Epstein victims and Congresspeople.

Also, I just saw this ...

In reversal, Trump says House Republicans should vote to release Epstein files
apnews.com

... President Donald Trump said House Republicans should vote to release the files in the Jeffrey Epstein case, a startling reversal after previously fighting the proposal as a growing number of those in his own party supported it.

"We have nothing to hide, and it's time to move on from this Democrat Hoax perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics in order to deflect from the Great Success of the Republican Party," Trump wrote on social media late Sunday after landing at Joint Base Andrews following a weekend in Florida.

Trump's statement followed a fierce fight within the GOP over the files, including an increasingly nasty split with Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who had long been one of his fiercest supporters. ...

The president's shift is an implicit acknowledgement that supporters of the measure have enough votes to pass it the House, although it has an unclear future in the Senate.

It is a rare example of Trump backtracking because of opposition within the GOP. ...

The only one who has faced any consequences is King Charles' brother Phillip, who, (sniff-sniff) doesn't get to be a "Prince" wearing fancy, Disney-esque costumes in a huge mansion anymore. From 21 Jan 2021 to 19 Jan 2025, USAG Merrick Garland sat on this pile of burning dynamite full of Credible Derogatory Information (CDI) on Dummkopf Trumpf, Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and a legion of sinister people and entities. And a NYT reporter knew about the Epstein's mysterious financial transactions and unique massage services BEFORE the 2016 election: drudge.com

So, who was USAG Merrick Garland shielding for four years while Special Counsel Jack Smith worked his tuchus off when the FBI Epstein files could have taken down Dummkopf Trumpf as a pedophile?

Moreover, state agencies could have run parallel investigations into Trumpf. Too bad NYS AG Letitia James didn't have access to the FBI Epstein files when she prosecuted her civil case against Trumpf. I guess that's another reason Trumpf took away her security clearance, as well as Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg's. The statute of limitations in NYS would have allowed them to prosecute crimes of pedophilia.

Trump has a very very close association with a lying, raping, fraudulent, criminal traitor... and the murderer of 600,000 people this year, 2/3rds of them children; himself.

The idea that he is someone who would have taken advantage of his close association with the Pedo Pimp isn't any stretch of credulity, especially considering that he IN FACT FAILED TO TURN EPSTEIN IN WHEN he 'knew about the girls' and didn't 'bark'.

I don't know if you are more a religious hypocrite or a Trump Cultist, but both is a very disturbing combination.

I take my cues from JC, who fed the poor and the immigrant stranger, and saved his vitriol not for sinners or the Roman Gov, but for religious hypocrites who's morals were non-existent and who misled the people about God.

The Epstein files damage control saga reminds me of the Vatican covering up priestly pederasts. The big difference is that many nefarious people and entities will be exposed by the files.

One wonders what Alan Dershowitz is working so hard to cover up, deny, and deflect, and why USAG Merrick Garland sat on the files from 21 Jan 2021 to 19 Jan 2025.

"Emeritus Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz entered the latest public spat around the late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and his friendship with President Donald Trump by arguing that Epstein wasn't all that bad.

Speaking with Chris Cuomo on NewsNation on Friday, Dershowitz thought it prudent to clarify the nature of Epstein's crimes.

"The predecessor on your show described Epstein as a convicted pedophile," Dershowitz complained to Cuomo.

"[Epstein] pleaded guilty to one count of having sex for money with a 17-year-and-10-month-old person. That's not a pedophile."

;;

"While Epstein is alleged to have committed far more numerous and wide-ranging crimes, the case Dershowitz is referring to is that of his 2008 plea deal, under which he served 13 months (of an 18-month sentence) in a work-release program.

However, that investigation began after accusations were made about his interactions with a 14-year-old girl, and federal officials identified 36 similarly aged girls whom Epstein allegedly abused.

Epstein pleaded guilty to the two relatively minor crimes of prostitution and soliciting a minor for prostitution in Florida in order to avoid federal charges.

A 2020 Justice Department report into the case found "poor judgment" was made in giving Epstein a sweetheart deal at the time."

www.thedailybeast.com

My question is when is someone going to prison for handing out that Sweetheart Deal in Florida??

Also, for when Epstein was murdered in prison? Was Mossad involved?

Inquiring minds want to know.

"The late Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre claimed that she was forced to have sex with Dershowitz on Epstein's private plane.

While he denied the claim, he did admit to getting a massage while at Epstein's house, although he stated that he kept his underwear on and did not enjoy it."

So said Paul and only Paul. Paul was a stoner (literally).

Speaking of being stoned (apologies to biblical Stephen), I met Jesus too. We were smoking weed out back of the Sig Tau shed back in 2011. He came and told me not to bag Jeannette from House Clio. Apparently Jeannette was actually a Jeff, not a Jeannette.

btw, somehow Peter and James, JC's brother and his best bud, believed Paul, who had studied at the feet of Gamaliel, when he showed up in Jerusalem. I'll take Jesus' words about the poor and suffering over an egotistical rich kid whose parents bought him Roman citizenship, who crucified Christians, and claimed to have had a visit. Probably a ruse to set himself up as the figurehead of the post-Jesus era.

Read Matthew 25:31-46 and see if you pass the test. The GOP doesnt, what with trying to cut school lunch programs and cut affordable, life-saving health care so they can fund tax cuts for billionaires.

Ain't nothin' Jesus about that! He spoke out against hoarding money while others suffer. To use it to help others.

Apostle Paul said in a letter, "For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat."

Fake Plastic Christians are professionals at finding random quotes in the Bible to allow them to circumvent and avoid doing as Jesus commanded they do.

AU... let me suggest a newish book for your perusal. It's by probably the most prominent NT scholar of our time, Oxford's resident scholar. It's called, 'Paul, a biography'. The author was a scholar of Ancient History in general before, so he's quite good at the times, languages, and cultures involved.

Donner,

"Fake plastic Christians are professionals at cherry picking scripture so they can dodge what Jesus actually commanded."

On that, we agree. I have said the same thing more times than I can count.

Let me be clear. I am not one of them. My faith is not costume jewelry. I have lived it, wrestled with it, and carried it through my entire adult life. God has not been a slogan for me. He has been present in the hardest parts of my life.

So I will ask you directly.

Are you speaking from a life shaped by living with Christ in your heart, or are you just throwing scripture around. Is the Bible just a book to you or does it have life giving properties only a believer can feel?

Because if a person calls out fake Christians while using scripture like a prop, they are not exposing hypocrisy.

They are demonstrating it.

I speak from a life shaped by ALL the religions of the world and my human experience of the human condition. Why have you isolated yourself to one perspective of reality as if that is the only way of experiencing Life and the Divine. Do you not know yet that EVERYTHING is relative? Dependent entirely on your position in space and time.

If I was to have to choose one human (there are so many) who has shaped my view of the cosmos and life and the divine it would have to be the Buddha.

I do not worship any Gods, imaginary or otherwise. I thought I have made that clear. The fact that you claim you do "worship" a God does not give you any special authority in the matter.

If any Gods do exist then they have more of a responsibility for caring for and nurturing the spark of Life in a violent universe than I have spending my brief existence "worshipping" them.

"It does me no injury for my neighbour to say there are 20 gods or no God. (As long as ... ) It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg."

War,

"Where are your priorities you idiotic HERETICAL piece of political filth?
Own it and wear it. You are not a Christian, you are a Paulist. Cut the pretense."

I will admit it. That was a setup. I knew the ones who do not really believe the Bible would run straight to that argument. They did not disappoint.

As if, Jesus did not choose Paul to carry His message.

As if, Paul was representing himself and not pointing to Jesus.

As if, Jesus and Paul disagree.

Thank you for proving my point better than I could have.

I am very familiar with what a true Christian acts and sounds like. I will continue to call you a fake Plastic Christian every time I see you act like one.

Being as how your God (as you would call it) exists everywhere and in all of us you can consider me a messenger from your "God".

Maybe He is trying to tell you something.

Corky,

"It's called, 'Paul, a biography'"

After reviewing the book, the good and bad, it sounds interesting.

I will check it out.
