3% of recent ICE detainees had violent felony conviction
Only 3% of individuals detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement during the first 14 months of the second Trump administration had a violent felony conviction, according to an ABC News analysis of government data.

There is no "reforming" or "fixing" ICE and DHS other than completely dismantling these sinister organs of the police state meant to track Americans and permanent residents without warrant and to deport undesirables without seeing an Immigration Judge (IJ), AKA "due process."
AIPAC and status quo politicians want the USG to have the power to monitor dissidents and expel pro-Palestinian foreigners or other vulnerable people of color.
True progressives like popular and effective NYC Mayor Zorhan Mamdani (D) know this.
