Federal officials have quietly begun fast-tracking cases through immigration courts as the Trump administration pushes to increase the pace of deportations. Some judges have seen their caseloads double and triple. Lawyers say the tactic is causing errors and confusion.

... he findings, based on data tracking the current Trump administration's immigration crackdown, come after President Donald Trump had pledged to target the "worst of the worst" criminal offenders among the nation's migrants.

Based on government data analyzed by ABC News as provided by ICE in response to a FOIA requests to the Deportation Data Project and the University of Washington Center for Human Rights, the findings show that immigration enforcement has affected more than 400,000 individuals with no violent criminal history, including parents and spouses of U.S. citizens.

While the 3% figure is consistent with rates seen under the Biden administration, the data shows the Trump administration is not detaining a higher proportion of violent offenders despite a significant overall increase in total detentions. ...

ICE raided a Kindergarten graduation celebration in Baltimore the other day.

Terrorizing brown people is the ICE mission.

There is no "reforming" or "fixing" ICE and DHS other than completely dismantling these sinister organs of the police state meant to track Americans and permanent residents without warrant and to deport undesirables without seeing an Immigration Judge (IJ), AKA "due process."

AIPAC and status quo politicians want the USG to have the power to monitor dissidents and expel pro-Palestinian foreigners or other vulnerable people of color.

True progressives like popular and effective NYC Mayor Zorhan Mamdani (D) know this.

Pres Trump [shamefully] lies a lot and oh too frequently.

But the MAGA cult still seems to stand with him.

The rest of the Country, well ...

President Trump Job Approval - Immigration

But one of Pres Trump's main campaign points, beside the economy (and I won't go there for the nonce), was immigration.

And now he seems to be underwater on the immigration issue?

Surprise surprise.

The Trump Junta is lying to us.

Why it must be a day that ends in Y.

Wait. For the narrative of ICE sweeping up so many criminal border jumpers to be true, there have to be more such folks arrested and dealt with. So then, why are so few thug life illegals being arrested? And then why are those folks not being prosecuted for their crimes? Could it be that the narrative is false, that illegals coming to the US are here to work and support their families, and keep their heads down? I'll guess we'll never know, in this complicated world...

IN THE MEANTIME, RELEASE THE TRUMP-EPSTEIN FILES...

A day will come soon when Americans will be ashamed of their country and of their own willingness to go along and even vote for those responsible for this crime against humanity. I can almost already hear their denials. they' .b2e just like Germans after WWII; they'll say "We didn't know!" but that will be a lie. They do know but they .still just repeat the talking points and continue to support Republican politicians. Thing is though; "right and wrong" will reassert itself at some point and how we each handled this draconian abuse of human beings will finally be viewed as what it is.

The goal of ICE was never to deport the illegal immigrant criminals.

The goal of ICE was to terrorize the immigrant communities across america into leaving the nation.

It has always been about violating the constitutional rights of immigrants and deporting the people who were supposedly stealing the jobs of Americans.

Here you go Jethro...now's your turn to pick tomatoes in the FL sunshine for $12 per hour.

Enjoy.

Weird place to pick up the stats from. The peak was 50% approval. He's down all of -5 from that last year, but is within the historical average of what it's always been. The lowest it's been was 39%.

As for a voting issue, it's above guns and abortion, but it's below the economy (it's always the economy, stupid), health care, SC appointments, foreign policy (lol, campaign promises are not binding trumpers).

Violent crime ties with Immigration, but for Republicans they're also the same thing for poor immigrations.
