No Teddy Roosevelt would not be a terrible person by today's standards. Teddy was an Amazing President especially by today's "no standards". He would probably not be a "trophy hunter" today. Not when the trophy's are in danger of extinction. He would recognize thi s and deal with it accordingly.

Any negotiations done under duress and threats of violence can easily be rescinded after Trumpy (AT).

You don't appreciate that because you've been conditioned by the "we oppose everything" crowd.

What I do not appreciate is being lied to constantly and disrespected and treated like "the enemy" by my own President who is undermining the rule of law and the constitution in order to line his own pockets and those of his allies with taxpayer money.

For crying out loud, Trump is trying to keep one of the craziest regimes on earth from getting nuclear weapons.

By attacking them and reminding them that once they get nukes America won't be able to attack them anymore? And you think that's a great plan?

For crying out loud is right. Obama had already successfully negotiated a nuclear agreement with Iran. Without firing a single shot.

No matter how many times Trumpy threatens to obliterate Iran's nuclear facilities and capabilities and bomb their school children they are not going to negotiate a nuclear agreement with him.

This "war" and these "negotiations" could go on for 3 years now or until a more reasonable US president takes the reins.

He took on anyone he could - including professional boxers. He frequently sparred in a makeshift White House ring against staff, friends, and professional fighters.

Let's see Trumpy get into the ring and then we'll talk. In fact, let ME get in the ring with Trumpy and let's see who is softer. And no I'm no professional boxer but I could down take that fat slob in seconds.

As you know, many people do remember; my wife did after her NDE. But people don't seem to always remember, though those that do remember strikingly similar things.

Yes. But come on ... what do they remember? And what are they remembering?

You've never had a vivid dream so real you thought that for a second or even minutes that it was? The brain can do this especially in a life threatening crisis. Sometimes that dream may stay with you for a long time.

Obviously the brain did not die if it is still functioning enough to dream. The brain is an amazing thing. Another one of those amazing things that took billions of years to evolve and we still don't fully understand it and how it works. Yet.

And will we ever know what happens to our consciousness after death? Not until someone can physically return after they are fully and completely dead ( not just a stopped heart and undetectable brain activity) and tell us. Perhaps we just need a better definition of "death". No one has ever returned from be truly dead( sorry Christians I am not buying what you are selling) . Hopefully with videos ( or some kind of actual verifiable data) not dreams.

Having said that we still should study NDE's to understand the brain better. But they don't tell us anything regarding what happens to consciousness after death because those bodies/brains were not really dead. Obviously.
