All the Republican Party has to do to get rid of trump is pay him off, the way he got paid off to go away from the bankrupted casinos. Sure, America is now bankrupt thanks to the massive tax cuts, but Trump, I am sure, would take a few billions to go back to Mar a lago with a complete pardon.

As has been pointed out since the founding of this country, we either take money out of politics and elections, or it all falls to the inevitable revolution of the rich and greedy caste.

These days I often hear the songs of the "Music Man" rambling around in my head as I see the corruption spread. The "hero" was a con man who sold lies and musical instruments...

This country of ours has so many needs, so many old and disabled people struggling to get through their days, but Trump and his gang are focused on grabbing all the grift and bribes they can before the midterms probably bring in the cops, or the Democratic investigations.

And soon, one expects, the greatest con of them all will take place, Trump will resign so that his VP at the time can automatically rise to the Presidency and as the Republican Party hack did for Nixon, pardon Trump for each and every of his unlawful grifts and grabs, including war crimes that involved murder...from the high seas to Iranian leaders.
No one is in charge of this country, but there are gangsters out there grabbing for everything that isn't nailed down, as happens in a falling empire.

You cannot take it with you, I am told. Trump is what is happening across the American financial world, the rich are becoming gods in that they own it all, their kids get the best, and the poor get...trade school.

America was lucky as hell to have the fight for rights of African Americans led by MLK Jr., as he believed in non violent civil disobedience. It took a long time, but things are definitely better than they were in 1960. In twenty years or so we whites will not longer be in the majority...now that would be an amazing time to experience. Even Trump using ICE as his brownshirt gang will not change the demographics.

Again, one does wish there were job qualifications in political jobs, people would have to show talent and experience in high level jobs...

One might ask if the ugly can get worse, I mean we started a war with Iran and murdered over 40 of its leaders, partially to distract from the Epstein files. If the Dems do gain control of both Houses of Congress and the Epstein files are released, what is left for Trump to do but try another insurrection riot?

MAGA looked at Trump and the women he ran against, and they said...hell no, we won't be allowing no woman to be boss...
And so, the idiocracy, for at least a couple of months, or perhaps for two years.
Imagine decent people, imagine there actually being a heaven, imagine Jimmy Carter looking down and weeping for his country.

Either the rule of law, or the law of the jungle, take your pick...goodness knows I wish the UN could adjudicate all such issues...
But then, I am an American and my idiotic government routinely murders criminal suspects on the high seas...so clearly I am powerless to stop anything or anyone.
