Not quite getting the argument.

Mullins is saying sanctuary cities don't cooperate with CBP/ICE, so then why should those same sanctuary cities be a PoE?

The idea as I see it is to put pressure on Congress people from those districts to fund ICE and CBP. (they are the biggest opponents)

You could even foresee a throttling landings at PoE airports as this situation unfolds. They've worked 2 months without pay, and are losing people.

You can't ask for all the benefits, and accept none of the costs.

Imagine the whole country not having no PoE airports, due to this situation.

In announcing the deal, Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Iran, the U.S. and Israel had agreed to an "immediate ceasefire everywhere including Lebanon and elsewhere" that was "EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY."

Sharif appeared to call out Israel in a follow-up statement, saying violations of the ceasefire "across the conflict zone ... undermine the spirit of the peace process."

People want a larger government and then predictably bitch about where the money goes.

One day it will be a clue to those who clamor on and on and on about significantly increasing the size of the federal government (it's too small for them) why there are those who are against a larger federal government.

This is why. Right here. This issue. Where we are spending money on ICE contracts. This is why some conservatives are conservatives.

Some are really just partisans who will defend this ----....but that's not conservative. It's partisan.

I'm against this ICE ---- and said so from the start.

It's a complete waste of money to combat an issue that's not really an issue. Or at least it can't be solved this way.

Thousands of innocents - including hundreds of children - dead in Lebanon and Iran for no reason. U.S. troops killed and wounded. U.S. embassies and bases in the Middle East badly damaged. U.S. standing in the world obliterated. U.S. munitions badly depleted. Hundreds of billions spent. Prices up everywhere. More global economic fallout to come. Putin strengthened and enriched. Just a catastrophic situation even in the best of circumstances. A profoundly shameful episode in American history no matter what happens next.
