Laura,
What does that have to do with vetting?
The Supreme Court reaffirmed that if someone is born on US soil, that person is a US citizen.
But that does not eliminate the government's authority to control entry, vet people before they enter, set stricter rules at the border, or punish people who commit fraud to gain entry.
In a separate decision, the Court also allowed the administration to turn away asylum seekers who are still on the Mexico side of the border and have not physically entered the US.
So birthright citizenship may be settled, but the rules for entry and vetting are not.
Just think about what is likely to happen now.

We obviously need supreme court reform dumbass.
We need to rebalance the court.
And no Congress should ever be able to stop a President from nominating a replacement. (Dems should get at least one freebie.)
And we obviously need staggered term limits and enforced ethical rules.
Four justices actually voted that the constitution was unconstitutional.
