No,I actually didn't. His speech on J6 and his overall actions regarding 2020 should have been disqualifying. Not in a legal sense - he didn't break any laws. But in a political sense.

Having said that, I live in the real world and he is our president for the next 4 years.

It appears as if the attempts to use the legal system against him to try and hand the next 4 years to Biden/Harris backfired.

Why? Because Democrats/left/MSM went WAY too far in their attempts to tilt the election through the legal system. If you want to win voters you don't fight corruption with corruption.

On top of that outlets like NYT are starting to report that his mental and physical acuity was terrible during his last year (it was the case as early as 2019 but he definitely got worse). Most people saw it based upon polling and watching how he fumbled even in the most controlled environments carefully managed by his inner circle and amplified by a propaganda media.

Then the June debate happened and no amount of gaslighting and lying could hide his condition that was obvious to people like me for the entirety of his presidency. So, he was jettisoned and Harris was inserted as a Hail Mary pass. Of course, she was a terrible candidate no matter how much fluff the MSM gave her joy' campaign.

Voters were disgusted by all of it and now we are stuck with Trump for the next 4 years.

Having said that, the term "Democracy" is also a generic term to describe differing forms of governance where the leaders are elected via the votes of the people. Parliamentary and our Republic are structured differently but both are democracies in the generic sense of the word.
