Yayyyyyyyyy I'm so thrilled. I hope that she is doing well and will survive this without any problems.

A bullet would have prevented this. Or let the family deal with her.

We have gotten too soft in this nation. There should be no concern for the person being put to death. There was no concern for the victim.

Said it before and I'll say it again, capital punishment is barbaric. We're made less as a society/nation/people because we allow it to happen.

Seems like an act of God to me. MAGA knows about God, they talk about Him so much.

A bullet would have prevented SUBLIBERAL, but I'm sure he's never done anything wrong.

intentional perhaps?

I often wonder what people like subhuman would do if they were raped and beaten from say the age of 6 months until their early teens. I am sure they would develop into well-adjusted and contributing members of society.

5. Exactly. Divine providence.

In the christian belief system, if you sin in your heart you have sinned for real. Like the actual thought of something means you have done that thing. Like if you have lusted after someone you have committed adultry

Subhuman has wished to murder someone. By christian beliefs he has therefore murdered someone and should be shot dead.

Or more likely, someone in the chain of custody for the drugs didn't think the woman should be killed and messed with the bottles

Still a miracle.

Especially on women, eh?

"intentional perhaps?"

Perhaps.

Or maybe someone thought women only needed a lower dose of the drug for it to work.

Or maybe it's . . .

Maybe put an AI bot in charge of executing humans now since the humans have become so incompetent at it. I hear AI is already pretty good at killing humans.

Re 11

Sounds to me like they blew her veins. Twice.

So it's more likely just incompetence. Like I said. They need more practice. Or let AI do their dirty work.

Of course the real solution is stop playing God. Which (if there are Gods) would be the message the Gods (I assume)
are sending.

Or hear me out

Maybe every human being has worth

Maybe every human being should be provided with mercy

Maybe the world would be a better place if we didn't consider people as less then and deserving of extinction.

Maybe, possibly, this would be a better world if we recognized that the type of trauma this woman suffered from her birth to her mid-teens lead her to commit this horrific crime and we actually tried to help her

Funny how my attitude is more christian than most christians.

Nope

A miracle is an extraordinary event that cannot be explained by natural or scientific laws and is often attributed to a divine or supernatural power

No such thing as a miracle

Just human intervention either intentional or unintentional

I often think of Karla Faye Tucker who was mocked by George Bush, who he refused to commute her death sentence, who considers himself a christian

Tucker by all accounts had become a good person helping others in prison to improve their lives.

And bush mocked her as he condemned her to death.

yet another reason why I hold religious people in contempt

It is easy to show mercy and compassion to those who have not done the worst

It is actual mercy and compassion to express sympathy and uplift those who have done the worst and attempted redemption.

Jesus said something about first stones and cheeks and 70 times 7 somethings or other

I'm very glad she survived the attempted murder.

Murder by the state is a crime against humanity. Every judge, juror, governor, persecutor, warden, guard, and anyone else involved in murder by the state should get life in prison. In this case since the victim survived I'd be ok with parole, but if they'd been successful it should be one of the only crimes where life without parole should be allowed.

It's among the most heinous crimes that can be committed.

Murder by the state is a crime against humanity.

Its not murder though. She committed the crime against humanity.

What ever happened to the victims rights? Advocating for the criminal isn't progress, it's regression.

Every judge, juror, governor, persecutor, warden, guard, and anyone else involved in murder by the state should get life in prison.

Why? Think about why chemical execution exists.

Its funny people think chemical execution is more human than the guillotine of the 16th century.

Patricide Jeff and his trusty vat of horse paste should have been given the task of offing this woman.

#30 | Posted by reinheitsgebot at 2026-10-01 03:44 PM | Reply

What ever happened to the victims rights?

What about her rights when she was beaten as a toddler?

What about her rights when she was raped at 11 years of age, by a relative?

What about her rights when she was raped by a stranger at 17?

What about her rights when she was abused and abandoned by her parents?

What about her rights when she was born with brain damage due to her mother drinking when she was pregnant?

What about her rights when she was raped, repeatedly, by her grandmother's boyfriend who forced his penis into her mouth?

What about her rights when she began school, when asked what she did at home, she drew a man with a horrifying face and large genitalia. Although the school contacted her parents, social services failed to intervene, and the police were never called?

What about her rights when her mother's boyfriends beat her with a paddle and twisted her nipples and punched her in the face?44

What about her rights when after suffering years of sexual and physical abuse and suffering from PTSD she went untreated and unmedicated?

Where is your compassion?

I agree with you.

FFS, Dr. Guillotine's whole idea was swift and (comparatively) humane.

Plus...a low failure rate!

Fox News guest, legal analyst John Yoo (who was involved in allowing torture by U.S. forces):

"The court has allowed" and Tennessee could use "far more, I would think, hurtful methods, like firing squad," Yoo said. "What's going to have to happen is that Tennessee is going to have to go back and try again, perfect these methods, or use some other kind of execution method."
