As one who lived homeless for years, on the street and in rescue missions...life at the bottom is so bad, so painful, I would vote to make death with dignity laws available, on a voluntary basis, to those with degenerating diseases including dementia, and for those of us over 70...it is a human right to control our lives, and life at the bottom is pretty much the definition of hell on earth.
It is a deliberate choice, for the far right Republican Party, to pretty much work to push the poor and the powerless onto those ice floes...Look at what they are trying to do to what health care we do have, what housing we do have....

It took no time at all for millions of Americans to devolve to this point.

Of course, I've often said that they were always this way.

There was a dream that was America that offered people a way out of this sort of Hell.

I wonder why they never found it appealing?

Followed by hunting anno Followed by hunting people who want to tae away our guns which we have a "God given right to own!" Followed by hunting them God damned libruls. Followed by hunting down teenagers...who do you think the gangs are made up of...no teenagers...no gangs! Followed by hunting down those in their early 20's because some of them are still in gangs! Followed by hunting down those in their 70's because we suck up Social Security bevefits by refusing to die. Just look at Bozo, the DR tough guy who's ready to storm corner coffee shops to kill libs at a moments notice. (More likely not and he's all talk).

There is no coming up with reasonable solutions with these people. All can think of exterminating the people who are also victims of a nationwide problem. Final solutions.

The articles I see on this have all understandably focused on Kilmeade but his statement is really just a one part of the problem. His statement was a follow on to that from one of his cohosts who suggested we should imprison the homeless and mentally ill for simply existing. Kilmeade then made his comment and both of his cohosts appeared to agree with him. Neither appeared to have thought his statement went way too far. That they weren't immediately pulled off the air and an apology issued by the network is all anyone should need to know about the extremism that is systemic at Fox News.

John,

There is a certain cruelty in letting people waste away on the streets.

At this point, I don't think anything will change unless we step in by putting them in facilities where they can detox, get clean, and be treated like human beings again.

If they have family willing to take them after rehabilitation, great. But for those who can't care for themselves, we can't just throw them back out there.

It's cruel to stand by and do nothing. If they can't make sound decisions for themselves, then society needs to make that decision for them.

This is absolutely no different than the ideology liberals have that if someone kills a bunch of people, we should let them live in society with no penalties and he/she should be free to kill more. One side wants to kill those people, the other side wants those people to be free to kill others.

Both sides are freaking stupid yet they can't take 5 minutes away from vilifying the other side to see how much their own villainy is hurting people.

It's not obvious to me that he believes homeless people deserve our empathy and compassion since he was calling for their imprisonment and execution the day prior.
Sounds to me like he was ordered by his superiors to apology or take a hike when the only option he should have been given was walk out of the building on your own or have security drag you out.

Do you really believe his comment was calling his listeners to start killing the homeless.

#49 | Posted by BillJohnson at 2025-09-15 04:08 PM | Reply

Your defense of the comment is disgusting.
You make it sound like it was said by some rando in a man on the street interview.

This wasn't a guest on the show. It was a host who is paid by Fox to represent the network. It was also his cohosts who both gave verbal affirmation of his idea. There's a back room of people at Fox whose jobs are to monitor the content. Those decision makers allows the show to continue when they could have pulled him off the air much like they did when Rebekah Koffler appeared to be drunk when they had her on as a guest analyst a couple months ago. They could have cut to commercial and issued an apology after the break.

I wonder what your reaction would be if NYTimes editorial staff ran an opinion piece calling for the death of all gay people who refuse to undergo conversion therapy.

Ending homelessness in the U.S. could cost anywhere from $11 billion to $30 billion annually, with some sources estimating a lower figure of around $20 billion for a one-time intervention to end it permanently.

The recent federal legislation passed in July 2025 has drastically increased U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) funding, allocating approximately $75 billion over four years, which equates to about $18.7 billion annually, significantly more than the agency's previous annual budget of around $8 billion

I saw an insta post the other day that was a picture of graffiti that said

"This used to be my home, when I had a home, now it's an Airbnb"

Real Estate is yet another transfer of wealth from the middle class to the rich

It used to be a person bought a home and build equity in that house and that was wealth for them

Now people can't afford to buy so they rent, or go without

who buys the houses

Large equity

A friend of mine recently sold her house. Within 2 days of listing she got 3 offers, 2 from equity firms 1 from a young couple, the young couple wanted inspections (reasonable), the equity firms got into a small bidding war for like 20% over asking, all cash, no inspections, short closing

Unbelievable

Truth,

A little research.

If the fed bought pentobarbital in bulk, it would cost about $7500 per person.

There are estimated 771,480 homeless. That times 7500 is about $5.7 billion.

That's a lot cheaper than 20 billion.

Bulk is the way to go.

Do I really mean it? You'll never know.
I can say that because I'm not on live TV.

You know what is funny.

People post stuff without REALLY considering how that post makes them look.

You are simply stating that you are a hypocrite.

You are saying that people cannot believe you when you say something.

You are saying that you lie, that you say stuff you THINK other people would want to hear.

This just reveals you to be a person of low character.

You said it and don't even realize you said it and will now deny saying it, you were just joking, right?

But you wouldn't even be aware of what you just did without me pointing it out to you.

Clown,

I'd film it and set up a website and make people pay to see them.

The creeps around the world would gladly pay to watch this stuff.

I bet you'd pay or would you just get bootleg copies?

I don't care if he apologized. Within other media companies, the right has demanded employment termination for FAR less.

Does it really matter if he gets fired? I'm sure the Trump regime will find him a spot. ...perhaps managing the executions.

Truth,
A little research.
If the fed bought pentobarbital in bulk, it would cost about $7500 per person.
There are estimated 771,480 homeless. That times 7500 is about $5.7 billion.
That's a lot cheaper than 20 billion.
Bulk is the way to go.

#77 | Posted by ClownShack

He did issue an apology and clarification.

Unlike truthhurts which wants all MAGATs to die.

I find it a little humourous the same people complaining about kilmeade, themselves have said incredibly worse statements.

Truth,

If it makes you feel any better, sometimes I hold myself in contempt.

Then I go find a liberal psychologist who reassures me that guilt is just an outdated social construct and bills me $200 for the insight.

The day of the purge will be the greatest day of his life. He'll get to kill lots of libs, black and white alike, including the bride and I, who are soft, easy targets.

But by the end of the second day, he'll be dead.

How? Fragged. Why? Because he LOOKS like the enemy.

It's funny reading you idiots compare what TruthHurts, the anonymous poster on the drudge retort, posts to what a Fox News anchor says live on air.

This dishonesty scumbaggary, this deplorable bullshht, is what's destroying America.

Idiots who gaslight and pretend both sides are the same and molehills are the same size as mountains.

and I have made it clear I believe they are a direct threat against my loved ones

I do revel in their misery, ESPECIALLY the misery that their support of the current president results in

but wanting them all dead?

No, I prefer that they all crawl across the floor and kiss my ass

then I might consider them human again

oh and eb, trying to get my attention resorts to reminding me how I feel about magat scum

Yes, cunt, cunts are cunts. I will refer to them as cunts, when they are cunts. A cunt is a cunt you see

Like you, YOU are a cunt. A pathetic cunt at that, but still a cunt.

NOW

What does that say about me?

Oh, I am an asshole.

Fair, I own that

I am an angry asshole

Yes, that can be a fair characterization, though I would argue I am only angry at certain cunts

I am an obnoxious asshole

Proudly, say I

But, what that does NOT say about me it that I am a liar, or a hypocrite, like some around here

But that is because I have integrity, I stand by EVERYTHING I post/say.

I was taught that at a young age-all a man has in this world is his word and that is all that he needs.

Others? the cunts? They should have been raised better

You've been informed and educated, be better people.

#63 | Posted by BillJohnson

You keep saying that but you don't bother to explain why Fox left him on the air or why they let him go back on the very next day. Fox has taken no action that would indicate what he said is not representee of their company.

If someone were to put a bumper stick on your car that says "Murder The Homeless" would you remove it as soon as you noticed it or just leave it there and let people think that is what you believe?

Danni is going to reveal a secret! I am a biological man but I lived, for many years, as a woman. I had a good job and was responsible for projects that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. I never missed a deadline or launched an advertising program that wasn't a success, as in big success!
I was married, as a man but my wife left me and my two kids who I raised alone. Today, I'm old and I don't try to pass as female any more. Now I restrict my wardrobe to Tshirts and shorts. Honestly, I don't feel safe as myself. So, I basically hide because in today's world people like me are targets for violent attacks. I'm too old for that!
