Yep--Christians should round up the homeless, declare them criminals and force them from the city walls.
"Then he will say to those on his left, Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'
"They also will answer, Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'
"He will reply, Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'
"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."

Donald Trump sincerely believes that he is some sort of god.
It's easier to seem godlike when you pick on the weak.
So his first miracle is telling the homeless to leave.
And if they don't I suppose he'll find something bad to do with them, anotehr miracle.

His delusions of godhood only get worse. So his behavior will get worse.

DC government is faking crime data, systematically under-reporting violence thehill.com
Not to worry under reporting is happening all across the country.
Shoplifting numbers for all of San Francisco doubled in September after one Target location changed the method it uses to report the crime www.businessinsider.com
Oakland PD's inaccurate crime reporting leads to questions about what's going on in city abc7news.com
That's really what authoritarians look like, under reporting crime, threatening those that do. Its wild to me because the whole argument for a sanctuary city was to enable undocumented immigrants to report crimes. Now Blue Cities threaten you if you report a crime.

Redundant.
Cities in blue states will be the first targets, for sure.
But cities in red states will be targets as well. If they are targeted quicker than blue state cities, it will be because of compliant governors who go along with activating state NG to deploy to urban areas at Trump's demand.

You really are stupid. DO you even read the articles at all - even skim it a bit? Or just straight to rage comment off a headline. First of all it's an another ghost source - but lets go with that not being an issue here, we'll just take all of this at face value.
I read more than the linked article, you stupid piece of s*&^.
drudge.com
As usual, you're whine about anonymous sources is meaningless and, more than likely, just you attempting to avoid having to actually think.

Because I'm not stupid enough to believe anything this administration says.
You are.
Willfully or otherwise, you swallow every bucket of s*&^ they tell you to swallow.
So, again, when was the last time the feds took over a local PD?

I dont know the last time it happened, but the last time it happened for me was Hurricane Katrina.
Now do you really believe that the NG is going to go into DC and take over the entire operation? Lets get this part on record, moron. And the museums, monuments and reflection pools??? Be clear about your predictions.

I didn't ask about activation of NG. I know there's precedence for that.
I'm asking last time feds took over a local PD.
Here, I'll help you. The feds can only legally take control of the DC PD. But only for 30 days.
That has never happened before now.
So what precedence is there for the current waters we're navigating?

I don't. I think there will be an appearance of the NG to stomp out the non-existent crime problem but that's it.
A scene like this.......a NG soldier waving and saying high to a few tourists walk by as he's kicking a homeless person in the head.
"Atta boy!!!" coming from the old man with his MAGA hat on....

So exactly what "feds" are you talking about.

The NG assisted local PD during Katrina response. Again, that is something that I don't deny has happened and it has always been at the request and in cooperation with local/state government.
Also, I thought Trump didn't have the power to deploy the NG for an emergency in DC...

So, Big Balls, out to score some more blow and hook up with a hooker gets a beat down(karma) from the local youth in that neighborhood he should not have been in at 4 am and now Hair Furor, orange POS that he is, brings out the National Guard? What a crock of shite.

There was no local PD. They all fled or became looters. Hummers, NG in uniforms, long guns slung, walking the streets and curfews.

That wasn't the answer to the question, but it sure did put in context how extraordinary, wrong, and ridiculous Trump's actions are in D.C.

This is exactly what the President said and if you have a problem with it then that's on you.
"The Homeless have to move out, IMMEDIATELY. WE WILL GIVE YOU PLACES TO STAY, but FAR from the Capital," Trump wrote. "The Criminals, you don't have to move out. We're going to put you in jail where you belong."

So, the solution to homelessness is... Government Handouts. And you don't have a problem with that.

I don't think sending the homeless people to Alligator Auschwitz actually helps. But since you do think it helps, tell us, how does that actually help?

If Trump organizes and handles the military takeover of DC as well as he handled Musk's DOGE firings, this could be a disaster for everyone who lives and works in DC. The backlash, even from Republicans will be massive. Seriously. This is a straightforward authoritarian militarized power grab. I would never have predicted Trump would go this far. Now that he is done it, can any of us be questioned for predicting more of the same? He wants to be a dictator, and insofar as he can push the limits, he is behaving like one.
There will be a response by the American people.

Maybe it will turn out like Los Angeles, millions waited for a photograph.
Photo Ops seem to be the only thing Trump can successfully accomplish.

I haven't seen where that's the case with the homeless, but aside of a steady supply of street drugs and cheap wine, it's probably a much better alternative for them.

You know who seizes control of a police department and says, "do whatever you want to protesters"? People planning to do things that they know the public will protest.

For them?
I asked what makes it better for America.
You don't have an answer for that.
So you changed your answer to "Handouts are good for people getting handouts."
No thoughts on the cost, or the Constitutional questions about sending the homeless to camps for what crime exactly?
