When my father died, the funeral director asked for his DD214 because there was some confusion on whether or not he wanted to be buried in uniform. Ultimately, we found out that he wished to be buried in his Donegal tweed. Even my Mother was surprised. He was an active-duty soldier for 4 years, but was an Irish gentleman from birth to the end.

Yes he did wear a uniform. But it was more like a costume.
Donald Trump wore a military-style cadet uniform while attending the New York Military Academy (NYMA) from age 13 until his graduation in 1964. Pretty sure a private in the actual military outranked him.
But he did not serve in the armed forces so I would think federal law prohibits him from wearing a military uniform.

General Patton's uniform is similar to the Soviet Red Army officer's uniform. The design and color anyway. General MacArthur's uniform, at least the devices and rank, appear similar to the British Army uniform. Although the rank insignia on the arm is that of an enlisted corporal, while he wears two general's stars on the epaulet. Ignorant and poorly worded AI commands, would be my guess. Even taking Trump out of the picture, it's completely disrespectful to two of our legendary soldiers. And then to not only put Trump in an unearned uniform, but also picture him with more ribbon bars than MacArthur, the US's most decorated soldier ever, is ridiculously insulting. Not that any Trumpers will care, which in my opinion is the worst part of this.

Someone in the West has to be willing to confront hostile regimes like Iran. If nobody does, the consequences could eventually become much worse.
We're dealing with a regime that has demonstrated a willingness to use extraordinary violence against its own people simply for challenging its authority. Thousands were killed during the recent crackdown on protesters.
Governments like Iran don't operate according to the same rules, restraints, or expectations that Western democracies do. Sometimes, there seem to be no rules at all.
It may take someone willing to push the limits of conventional diplomacy to deal with a government like that.
