Where are the mass protests?
Where is the general strike?
Where are the calls for congress to take action?
Why did the democrats surrender when they actually started winning the shut down in November?
The American people have allowed our power to be taken from us for nearly 50 years. We are reaping the rewards, and our options are becoming more and more limited.
But that does not change the simple fact that Piggy should not have been elected in a working democracy, in a country with any sense of right and wrong.
Be it actively supporting such evil or apathetically choosing social media over voting or choosing ignorance over protests we are all complicit.
That is a simple fact.
Again, the election should not have been close.
that it was is not due to Harris, or Gaza or inflation, those were just the talking points. the problem is a populace so devoid of compassion and critical thinking as to vote for piggy over a normal human being. Anyone with critical thinking skills should hear a man stand on a debate stage and say Haitians are eating cats and dogs and think this man should be in a mental hospital. Enough people couldn't even draw that simple conclusion. And more people just said "oh well" and didn't vote. And more people are fighting whether Bernie or AOC or Tom Bombadil would have won in place of Harris.

Until we solve that problem our democracy is doomed.
The structure of our federal government is currently set to permit, to only permit, the irrational minority to rule.
That is a problem that needs to be fixed.
