From the beginning, the bellicose Trumpf junta intention was to overthrow Nicolas Maduro and take over Venezuela, as evidenced by the previous DOJ and DoS moves against the Maduro regime (see links at bottom).
The 2025 DoD and DoS purges were to ensure loyalty and commitment to the neo-imperialism policy of the US, as written in the National Security Strategy released in November 2025.
Now we know why there was so much celebration and hubris at the Trumpf New Year's Eve gala: "War is coming! Yippee!"
In 2025, some House Democrats attempted to impeach Dummkopf Trumpf for attacking Iran and abuse of POTUS power, but were stymied by fellow Democrats: "Now is not the time," "the measure won't pass," Yada-yada-yada.
Democrats also caved in on the government closure and got nothing out of it for the American people.
So now 20 million Americans will be impacted by the loss of Obamacare (ACA) subsidies; premiums have risen by an average of 114%, and estimates suggest that between 4.8 million and 7.3 million people could lose their coverage in 2026.
And now we have an illegal war with Venezuela.
These corporate status quo Democratic Party dinosaurs simply have to go. They are Republican Party Lite, like House Minority Leader Hakeem "I Got Mine" Jeffries (D-NY).
Another example is warhawk US Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) who ensures wealthy, nuclear-armed Israel, a country that offers world class universal healthcare for its residents, receives American taxpayer dollars every year. This same brontosaurus doesn't object to US or Israeli military operations against Iranians or Houthis-- like Republicans-- and he didn't endorse fellow Democrat Zohran Mamdani for NYC Mayor. Republican Party Lite.
