Admitting you can't stand Trump's authenticity isn't a bad thing.

It's not an admission you're an idiot or that you really don't know what it means...although I think some here really don't know what it means.

It's commonly associated with a positive quality which isn't something we'd attach to Trump.

But I believe history will most harshly judge Trump for his open hatred and disrespect he's shown to so many people......and the corruption....more to come on that.

Bill Clinton got ---- on by the press and even members of his own party. Jimmy Carter as well.

but those 2 took the high road throughout all of it....and carried that class and dignity to their graves. (yes, I know Bill is still alive)

THAT is what distinguishes Trump from previous presidents.....the complete lack of dignity or class.....and parade of corrupt -------- connected to the White House.

But we're talking about being openly corrupt. Openly mean Openly disrespectful.

That's yet another reason why congress won't subject themselves to age limits....they'd royally screw up the seniority thing.

A factor most voters don't understand.

and if age mattered to voters? Then explain how members of the US House of Reps (who only serve 2 year terms) keep getting elected well into their 70s and 80s? Every 2 years a younger option could be available....and they can run on their youth and drive a wedge between the voters and the older opponent.

There is a reason why there are so many old members of the House........because voters, despite what they say, don't really care about age.

Old age is an advantage for members of congress......not the other way around.

make a list of his lies, and I'll show you those president's/leaders lies and let's see if Trump distinguishes himself from that field.

Then....we can focus on the authenticity. The open hatred and disdain for the press, members of both his own party and the opposition party, minorities, immigrants, etc....

People are confused about how they feel with regards to authenticity. They say they respect it but it's never really been true. People, especially many posters here, only value being told what they want to hear.

As I said, Trump displays an obvious disdain and/or outright hatred for many many people. That's........"authentic".

and with all that in mind.....Trump's pure authenticity pisses you off more than any non-authentic person.

And voters have rewarded a lack of authenticity millions of times.

Trump hides little to nothing with regards to disdain and open disrespect for others.....people in his party, opposition party, the media, etc.

Very few people are confused on where they stand with him.

In contrast, previous presidents held back on their disdain for others in the public arena. Clinton for sure.....and I mean this in the most complimentary way possible to Clinton.

To put it another way....Trump might be the authentic president...........ever.

answer.....when they put her on the ticket in the first place next to a guy who was already experiencing challenges with his faculties.

that was a huge gamble from start. and it didn't pan out unless you can make the argument that without Harris on the ticket, Biden wouldn't have won.

this was really my only point. that mistake was made when they put her on the ticket. "dark-skinned female" was a good thing.......until it wasn't....
