I see where you're going, but "affordability" and "DSA agenda" have a lot more overlap than you want them to.
For example, cancelling student debt puts a trillion dollars in the hands of the people who are bound to spend it at a pretty high multiplier effect.
And Medicare For All would reduce the nation's health bills by approximately as much as the health insurance companies earn in profits.
Abolishing ICE won't save much money per se, but making the United States a country safe for immigrants will have profound positive economic consequences. Though probably not enough as making the United States a country unsafe for immigrants has already had profound negative economic consequences. Same too with global trade and tariffs.
A sovereign wealth fund is also an idea that if implemented well would benefit every American, much like the Alaska Permanent Dividend fund puts money in every Alaskan's pocket every year.
Let me know if any of this math isn't mathing for you!
"I believe that scripture, the Bible, is very clear that God is the one that raises up those in authority... and I believe that God has ordained and allowed us to be brought here to this specific moment and time." - Mike Johnson, on his appointment as Speaker of the House
I guess God realized he made a big mistake.
