People are confused about how they feel with regards to authenticity. They say they respect it but it's never really been true. People, especially many posters here, only value being told what they want to hear.

As I said, Trump displays an obvious disdain and/or outright hatred for many many people. That's........"authentic".

and with all that in mind.....Trump's pure authenticity pisses you off more than any non-authentic person.

Trump hides little to nothing with regards to disdain and open disrespect for others.....people in his party, opposition party, the media, etc.

Very few people are confused on where they stand with him.

In contrast, previous presidents held back on their disdain for others in the public arena. Clinton for sure.....and I mean this in the most complimentary way possible to Clinton.

To put it another way....Trump might be the authentic president...........ever.

It's ironic to say that because we typically reference authenticity as a positive quality.....but it's not necessarily a good thing.

that was a huge gamble from start. and it didn't pan out unless you can make the argument that without Harris on the ticket, Biden wouldn't have won.
