This was the biggest week in American politics in a hundred years, and I'm not being cute about it. Bigger than Watergate in '74. Bigger than 1980, 1994, 2006, 2010 or 2018. Democrats took the House, they took the Senate, and they took governor's mansions in states where Republicans had stopped bothering to read their own polls. They took state legislatures, broke state supermajorities, swept local races for school boards and county commissions.
I've been preaching the rule for years. I named a book after it.
Everything Trump Touches Dies. It's as close as politics gets to Newtonian physics, and the only variable is how long it takes. Some victims go fast, some go slow, but the rule collects from every one of them, and on Tuesday it came for MAGA.
When I said, "Everything," I meant Everything.
Don't get smug yet. MAGA isn't in the ground. The media machine is still humming, and the tech bros, the private equity guys, the lobbyists, and the whole incentive structure that pays people to be cruel on camera will lick their wounds for a few months and then show up with the defibrillator paddles for 2028. Elon Musk isn't going to start cutting checks to Jon Ossoff. And Trump still has two years left with every power of the presidency, nuclear codes included, surrounded by people who will never tell him no. He's lost a lot of juice. He hasn't lost the keys.

"So ... what, five posts with no answers at all?!?"
Again, you've demonstrated you're not arguing in good faith, both with your 'play-acting' comment and then bragging about how you were quoting a state when it ruled against marriage equality.
You do raise legitimate questions about how plural marriage would affect survivor benefits and competing spousal claims. That is something that would need to be worked out, but you've clearly been using that as an excuse for gatekeeping. You're using the exact same tactics as many of those who were on the other side of the marriage issue from when you were at the forefront of the marriage "equality" movement.
"You're not really interested in rights, are you?"
We could throw this accusation at each other all day. Your own statements are a lot more damning when it comes to this than any of mine.
