Seeing all of these comments seriously gives ammunition to the "America will fall from within". People just continue to spout incorrect or hypocritical nonsense that just isn't true. And the worst part is that it's all public record and anyone can research it.
Obama added 54.6% to the national debt in his first term and 21.4% in his second. Trump added 39.1% in his first term. Biden increased it by 30.5%.
But instead of fighting both parties and making sure they are both held accountable, partisan people make up every single excuse they can as to how "my side is different though because...". They find any little metric or context that meets their party's ideology to exonerate their side from any wrongdoing. One could rightly say that by the end of Trump's second term, he will blow past Obama and that is probably accurate. Yet Reps are doing NOTHING about it other than blaming Dems for the debt. Just like liberals did under Biden and Obama, they did NOTHING while their party was busy spending.
But, yes, everything is the other party's fault when it comes to the debt. That's a fantastic strategy to fix the problem. All of you are strategic geniuses who should be given ultimate authority over the entire world for how awesome you are at creating solutions.
