1. Simplest and safest (likely Sitzkrieg's setup): Buy a [cheap] WiFi6/6e router just for home LAN, set up a different subnet from your [main] router you have now, block / firewall it from outside, then bind all local devices to that WLAN's subnet, assigning static/fixed IP on the WLAN router's subnet to each device's MAC - you can use ARP scripts, router software or whichever DHCP/IPv4 manager you like, to configure static IPs. ...

The options your current alias presents do not address the case I have where the range is a WiFi access point. It is not at all like Sitzkrieg's setup.

But to its suggested solution, I refer to my earlier #18 comment ...
